The Candy Corner / Windjammer Gifts located on the main corner of Central Avenue in downtown Mackinaw City is a small family owned business. Beginning in 1982, with a building less than 1,000 square feet, having only six flavors of fudge, carmel corn and a small souvenir line we were open for business.

Over the years as business grew so did the need for a larger building. In 1988 a 2500 square foot addition was added which allowed us to expand our candy and gift lines.

As 2003 approached to keep up with the growing demand and with the original building dating back to the late 1800´s a major change was desperately needed. The old buildings were removed and construction began on a completely new 2 story building totaling over 5000 square feet.
